Yesterday Christina was volunteering at the orphanage we support and she was being interviewed by some local Chinese news networks doing stories about the orphanage. After they were finished she decided to stay just ten more minutes before leaving for home. as she walked out the door she was greeted by another lady who asked her if she was a volunteer. When Christina said that she was, the lady said that she was from CNN and asked if they could use her in an interview. The guy doing the interview said he was just a fill in for someone else, so Christina wasn't as nervous as if he had told her he was Will Ripley, the head of all Asian news for CNN!
We are very grateful to have been able to be used in this way to promote the cause of orphans, and we know that when we have needs regarding adopting Joshua we know who to go to! The family mentioned in the video got all their money raised within 10 hours of the story being posted on CNN! So we know God sent us help for what we are going through too. Will Ripley also privately interviewed Christina about Joshua and he seemed quite interested.
On the CNN website, [ http://edition.cnn.com/2015/08/11/asia/china-orphanage-children/index.html] there is a lengthy article on the orphanage too.
